DJ Larry S

Born and raised in East St. Paul, Minnesota, Larry’s love for music was inspired by his father, who was a DJ. Growing up, he would watch his dad spin records, dreaming of one day following in his footsteps. Larry turned that dream into reality and began his own DJing journey. Picking up the craft quickly, thanks to years of observing his father, he’s been on an exciting path ever since. Larry always associated music with frailly and good times. That is why he is drawn to DJing.  He remembers laughing with his mom to the song Regulators. Even now, whenever the song plays, it sparks the same joy as it did when he was young.

Outside of DJing, Larry is a devoted husband, and a proud father to four little girls. In addition to his love of music, he’s passionate about combat sports. With nearly a decade of boxing experience, Larry is now beginning to train for MMA.

We cannot reccomend Larry with Instant Request enough! Instant Request was responsive, helpful, and nailed the DJ assignment. Our assigned DJ was Larry Saunders. Larry was spot on from the first planning meeting to the end of our wedding day! Larry was supportive and excited to take on our ideas and even put his creative twist on the ideas that made them even better! An example would be our idea to do a reverse anniversary dance to kick off an evening full of dancing and great memories! On top of that, Larry rolled with the last minute changes and requests that we made the night before and the day of our wedding. He kept the dance floor alive the entire night and help create and unforgettable wedding night! If we had to do it all again, we would only trust Larry to DJ on our big day!

DJ Larry was AMAZING!!! Dance floor was on fire the entire night. He was super kind and communicative. Listened to all my requests and did truly was loved by everybody. Cannot recommend enough!!

The planning tool is super helpful and convenient. Larry was awesome. He arrived plenty early for set up and rolled with the flow of the evening as we had an outdoor reception space so the amount of people on the dance floor was always in flux. People stayed all night enjoying the music. Awesome to work with!

We were really impressed with Larry! He did a great job leading up to the wedding and the entire night at the reception! The dance floor was packed the whole night, which we loved. We had multiple people come up to us to tell us how much they loved the DJ. Before the wedding, he confirmed the plan over the phone and followed up with any outstanding questions. He was also very responsive via text message if we had any small items we’d like to let him know about. Larry was very professional in balancing any requests from our guests which didn’t perfectly align with what the groom and I had in mind. We were a little concerned when initially booking with Instant Request since we did not have a DJ assigned until 3 weeks in advance of our wedding but we were very happy with the online planning tool and our DJ!
