We had Eric through the black tie service and he blew us out of the park! He was incredibly professional and knew exactly what to do to make the entire wedding run smoothly! We attended a wedding where they hired a DJ through a company similar to Instant Request but they only played songs through SoundCloud and didn’t have so many classic songs available! The whole dance floor was empty. It really scared us and made us upgrade to the black tie service to ensure we could select our DJ. IT WAS THE BEST DECISION! Eric was PHENOMENAL! Our dance floor was completely packed for 6 hours straight! We had people dancing that I didn’t even think would dance. I would recommended him over and over again. He was so amazing to work him! I can’t say enough good things about him!! I had the most fun of my life! It was amazing!!

Eva was so great! The dance floor was packed all night and when we needed her to say random stuff with no warning (like about a gluten free table or can certain family members come to the front for photos) she was on it! The pre-wedding questionnaire was very thorough so the day of was no-stress. Though I will never plan another wedding, if I were, I'd go through this company again and request Eva!
We had DJ Nonstop from Instant Request at our ceremony and reception and it was a great experience!! Everything went smoothly, the mixes during the dance were top tier, and so many people were so complimentary. He was easy to work with and a joy to have at our big day!
From the time we were first contacted by Instant Request to provide us with a quote for service, to the end of our wedding celebration, our experiences with Instant Request and with our DJ Kalli were incredibly positive! Kalli followed our playlist and ceremony music skillfully, and managed the evening masterfully. We worked with Matt to get set up and Rick as a DJ at the Hewing Hotel in Minneapolis for a wedding reception/birthday party. From start to finish they were great. Rick was awesome as a DJ and read the room like a pro. I would hire these guys again in a second and highly recommend their professional and caring services. Top notch!
Instant request was fantastic! Their portal for music and coordinating our wedding was super user friendly. We can’t say enough good things about our dj Tevin! He brought the party to life with fantastic transitions, reading the crowd and changing songs when needed. He made our wedding one to remember. I highly suggest asking for Tevin if you choose instant request, you won’t regret it!
Instant Request was a great company to work with! Our DJ was DJ Tom C, and he understood the assignment! He was so friendly, cool, and laid back. We didn't have much of a "plan" in terms of the list of songs, but we gave him some ideas for "our vibe" for the day, and he matched it perfectly. I also had some last minute changes that he was able to accommodate with no problem at all. Working with Instant Request was an overall smooth, seamless process and our wedding turned out beautifully with Tom's help. Tom set up, brought all of the equipment, and made the ceremony and reception an incredible time.

We really enjoyed working with DJ Rick and Instant Request. They had a great online system for selecting dance music and other special songs, and also accommodated/enhanced our Spotify playlists for cocktails and dinner as needed. Matt was always super responsive to any email questions too! We were so pleasantly surprised when he started playing a song/rap that he created with special details specific to our wedding (I’m guessing he got the information from a detailed day-of timeline that I shared with all vendors). It was a really fun surprise! DJ Rick’s personality was great for our wedding: more laid back during dinner and fun/energetic later on—the dance floor always had people! Given that we had an earlier start time due to our Catholic ceremony/Mass, I really appreciated that it was a flat rate for the wedding and not hourly—but we tried to tip accordingly! Would highly recommend them!

We cannot recommend Instant Request enough!! DJ Rick kept the party going all night long, and played the best songs. Their online planning tool was incredibly helpful. I've heard such horror stories of couples having a difficult time with their DJ at their wedding -- Instant Request makes sure that they play all the music you do want, and none of it that you don't!!! We are truly so thankful we got to work with Instant Request!

Instant request was amazing to work with and great at getting back to us whenever we had a question! They have a website that we were able to go into detail which songs we wanted and were able to create a personalized playlist! Since they’re a bigger company, they match a DJ to you based on your preferences and style! Our original DJ wasn’t able to make it, but they sent a replacement and she did an amazing job reading the crowd and getting everyone on the dance floor!
